Everything good starts in the bowl.
Most pet supplement stores are built like warehouses. Thousands of SKUs, algorithm-driven recommendations, listings written by people who never read the label. You search for a probiotic for your small dog and get twelve options with no explanation of why one is better than another — or whether any of them are right for your dog at all.
We built Veltor because we were those dog owners. Searching, guessing, buying things that looked right, not knowing if they were.
How we choose what goes in this store
Every product on Veltor went through the same process before it was listed.
We read the label. We reviewed the ingredient list and verified the dosing rationale. We checked for Canadian regulatory compliance — no illegal drug claims, no banned ingredients. We looked at whether the format, the serving size, and the concentration actually matched the dog it was made for. And then we gave it to our own dogs.
That last part isn't a marketing line. It's the standard. If we wouldn't give it to our own dogs, it doesn't get listed. Full stop.
We don't take placement fees from brands. Nothing in this store paid to be here. Our catalog is independent, unsponsored, and built entirely on whether a product earned its place — not whether a brand had a marketing budget.
What we make
We started with a problem we couldn't find a good solution for, so we built one ourselves. The Veltor Pace is our own product — designed in Canada, developed to solve a specific feeding challenge. It's the first of what we intend to be a small, deliberate line of products built to the same standard we hold everything else in this store to.
We are not trying to build a large product line. We are trying to build the right one.
What we carry
The supplements in this store come from brands we evaluated against that same standard — NaturVet, Progility, Canigest, RAW Supplements. We carry specific products from these brands, not their entire catalog. We carry the Progility Minis because the standard large-dog formula doesn't fit a small dog. We carry RAW Support Digestion because the format and concentration are genuinely different from what's commonly available in Canada.
Every product page on Veltor explains exactly why that product is here — what's in it, what it does, what the dosing logic is, and who it's actually for. That's not standard practice in pet retail. It should be.
What buying from Veltor means
Ships from Canada. No customs surprises, no cross-border delays, no packages held at the border. When something goes wrong, you're talking to us — not a support ticket queue in another timezone.
No fake discounts. No inflated compare-at prices manufactured to make a sale feel like a deal. The price is the price.
No fake urgency. No countdown timers, no "only 3 left" when there are 300. We don't manipulate — we inform.
If a product in our store isn't right for your dog, we'll tell you that — and point you to the one that is, even if it costs less.
Where we're going
More products, more content, and more ways to help Canadian dog owners get feeding right — from the bowl itself to everything that goes in it. We're building this slowly and deliberately, because that's the only way to build something worth trusting.
